Michaela Wazikova

Michaela Wazikova is a partner in the Prague office.

She has been practicing law for over eight years, most of which was spent at Balcar Polanský Eversheds.

Michaela focuses on bankruptcy law, public procurement and M&A. She has represented Czech and foreign banks in Czech bankruptcy proceedings, including pursuing clients’ subordinated claims, claims based on syndicated loans and related collateral. She also has experience with bankruptcy procedures governed by EU law. In addition, she has advised local and foreign clients in connection with their participation in public tenders. Michaela has been involved in several complex litigation matters concerning commercial disputes and M&A matters.

Michaela has recently advised a Polish client on one of the largest real estate transaction in the Czech market.
